The first volunteers took positions on the outskirts of the city, thus forming a defensive hemisphere around Kharkiv.

During the breakthrough of enemy sabotage groups into the city, unit fighters engaged in battle on the streets of Kharkiv, particularly near school No. 134.

Unit fighters repelled an attempt to storm Kharkiv by Kadyrovites near the "Rosa Vitriv" cafe.

The unit conducted its first major assault operation, during which the settlement of Vilkhivka east of Kharkiv was liberated, and an important logistics route along the Kharkiv-Chuhuiv highway was unblocked.

North of Kharkiv, the unit forces liberated the settlement of Ruska Lozova.

Unit forces liberated the village of Pytomnyk, which made it impossible to shell Kharkiv with barrel artillery.

The unit moved to carry out combat missions in the Luhansk region, where it conducted an assault raid on Bilohorivka and disrupted the enemy offensive.

At 5:00 AM, the Defense Forces of Ukraine began offensive actions along almost the entire front line in the Kharkiv region. In the evening of the same day, the KRAKEN special unit captured the village of Verbivka.

Assault groups of the unit entered the city of Balakliya. In the following days, the unit liberated Borodyarske, Morozivka, Savyntsi, and Dovhalivka.

KRAKEN liberated the right bank of the city of Kupyansk, thus forming a bridgehead for further advance of the Ukrainian army.

The unit liberated several more settlements in the Kupyansk district: Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, Podoly, Kivsharivka, Novoosyne, Hlushkivka, Kolisnykivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, and Novoselivske in Luhansk region.

The unit participated in battles in the Soledar direction. As a result of one of the operations, a special assault company of our unit, with artillery support, destroyed an advanced enemy command post.

The unit carried out missions in the Bakhmut direction. In particular, it participated in battles for the "GARDEN CENTER".

The KRAKEN special unit carried out missions to stabilize the front in the Kupyansk direction in the area of the settlement of Yahidne, to prevent a breakthrough by enemy forces and their further advance to the city of Kupyansk. During the operation, a significant amount of enemy manpower and equipment was destroyed.

The unit participated in the defense of Chasiv Yar, specifically the eastern district "Novyi".

The unit is carrying out stabilization measures to prevent enemy breakthrough to the settlement of Lyptsi, and further advance to the outskirts of Kharkiv.
